How do I enable ActiveX scripting in Internet Explorer version 5?
To enable ActiveX scripting, select the Internet Options command in the Tools menu. From the dialog box that appears, select the Security tab. Then, click on the Custom Level button. Another dialog box appears - ensure that you select the Active Scripting option here.

How do I enable cookies in Netscape Navigator?
To enable cookies, select the Preferences command in the Edit menu. From the dialog box that appears, select the Advanced category. Ensure that the Accept all cookies option has been selected.
